How to Scroll on a Chromebook
To scroll a webpage on a Chromebook you need to place two fingers on the touchpad then move them up or down(depending on your desired scroll direction) to make the page travel.


How To Right Click on a Chromebook

To right click on a Chromebook using the touchpad, does not require you to pair a bluetooth pointer or plug in a USB mouse. To do this tap once on the touchpad using two fingers. This will open the right-click options.

How to Take a Screenshot on a Chromebook
Let’s say you need to take a snap of your entire screen. To do this you press the ‘Ctrl’ and ‘Window Switcher’ keys at the same time:take a screenshot on a chromebook
If you just want to capture a specific area of the screen just add shift to the key combo, like so:take partial screenshot on chromebook
Open Task Manager
Is Chrome suddenly running slow? it could be a rogue extension or webpage sucking up your resources.  Identify the culprit using the task manager.task-manager


Lock the Screen
If you’re going to leave your computer unattended for a short period (say, whilst you go grab a coffee refill) you may wish to lock your screen to prevent anyone else meddling with your session.
To do this just press the following key combo:lock chrome os screen


Toggle Caps Lock On/Off
Most Chromebooks don’t come with a dedicated Caps Lock key. So how do you turn it on when you need to rant in the internet type in capital letters?
Just hit the following key combo to turn it on, and turn it back off when you’re done.cap
